The Universe Circles the Center

The moving regions do something else. They circle Paradise. Galaxies and cosmic systems move around the central Isle in enormous elliptical paths. And the direction alternates between successive space levels. One region moves one way. The next moves the opposite way. The Book connects this alternating motion with the stabilization of the larger gravitational system.

Once again: center ↓ organized region ↓ movement ↓ countermovement ↓ stability The system achieves stability not through the absence of movement but through balanced movement.

That is an important distinction. Stability does not mean nothing happens. Stability means the relationships remain organized while things happen.

Paradise Gravity

Then we reach gravity. Paradise is described as the absolute center and focal point of material gravity. Everything throughout the universe ultimately maintains a gravitational relationship to this center. But Paper 11 does something particularly useful for our investigation. It describes stages through which cosmic force becomes organized.

First comes a pregravity stage. Space potency begins individuating into pre-energy cosmic force. Then comes the gravity stage. The force-charge becomes energy responsive to Paradise gravity. Then comes the postgravity stage. Energy-matter becomes organized into forms responsive to local or linear gravity.

MATTER This is remarkably close to the question that originally produced Inversion Theory.

How does energy become structure? Paper 11 does not begin with finished matter. It describes stages. Potential. Force. Energy. Relationship. Organization. Matter. In Codex language, we are moving from something much closer to a harmonic condition toward a geometric condition. The final structure is not where the process begins. It is where the process ends.

Paradise as the Absolute of Patterns

And then, near the end of Paper 11, we encounter perhaps the most important statement for this entire investigation. Paradise is described as: the absolute of patterns. This stopped me. Because pattern is exactly what we have been looking for.

The Book distinguishes Paradise from the things patterned after it. Paradise supplies the pattern. Havona exhibits those potentials in actuality. That gives us another progression: PATTERN

EXPRESSION
↓
ORGANIZED REALITY

This is the same basic distinction I had already been making between the Harmonic State and the Geometric State. The pattern is not the final object. The pattern is the relationship from which the object can be produced.

In programmer language: Paradise is behaving like architecture. The architecture is not every instance created from it. It establishes the relationships through which instances can exist.

And that brings us back to the very beginning of Inversion Theory: Geometry is the aftereffect of harmonics made stable. Now we have The Urantia Book describing its absolute physical center as the absolute of patterns. That deserves our attention.

What Paper 11 Has Given Us

Before moving outward, let's collect what Paper 11 has actually placed on the table. We have: A stationary center. Absolute direction established relative to that center. Functional differentiation within the center. Space potency and force-energy associated with Nether Paradise. Concentric elliptical energetic zones.

Pressure differences. Inflow and outflow. Pulsation. Expansion and contraction. Energy emanating outward. Energy circulating through the universe. Energy returning toward Paradise. Alternating cycles of outgoing and incoming force. Space itself expanding and contracting.

A motionless nucleus surrounded by regions of motion. Quiet zones separating moving regions. Elliptical cosmic circulation around the center. Gravity focused upon the center. A progression from space potency to force, energy and organized matter. And finally: Paradise as the absolute of patterns.

We now have considerably more than a religious description of heaven. We have a proposed cosmic architecture.

And when I run that architecture through Inversion Theory, something begins to emerge. Paradise is the center. But Paradise itself is not the inversion. The inversion is what happens around the center. If Paradise exists within the surrounding condition, then the same question that produced Inversion Theory applies: What happens to the energy surrounding Paradise?

Paper 11 has begun answering that question. It describes energy organized around Paradise. It describes concentric regions. It describes pressure. It describes circulation. It describes boundaries between motion and relative motionlessness. It describes outward movement and return. It describes an entire universe maintaining relationships to a stationary center. That is the architecture of inversion.

But we still do not have the whole structure. Paper 11 has given us the center and its energetic behavior. What we need next is the map surrounding it. That is exactly what Paper 12 provides. Because Paper 12 takes us away from the Isle itself and asks us to look at the entire: Universe of Universes.

Paper 12 — The Universe of Universes

Paper 11 gave us the center. Paper 12 gives us the map. And almost immediately, The Urantia Book makes a statement that changes how we have to picture this universe. The universe of universes is described as an organized and coordinated whole with definite dimensions and limits. It is not presented as matter scattered randomly through endless space. Force, energy and matter behave as parts of one organized system.

More importantly, the Book tells us how that system is arranged. Starting at Paradise and moving outward, the master universe is organized into six concentric elliptical space levels: 1. The Central Universe — Havona 2. The Seven Superuniverses 3. The First Outer Space Level 4. The Second Outer Space Level 5. The Third Outer Space Level 6. The Fourth and Outermost Space Level

Every one of these levels encircles the central Isle of Paradise. Paper 11 gave us the center. Paper 12 has now given us the surrounding architecture. And this is where something I had developed independently suddenly appears in the structure.
